Professional Indemnity Insurance provides the holder with protection in the event of objections from third parties as a result of errors made by the holder in the course of providing professional services. This policy is available to legal entities and capable individuals (customs brokers, auditors, accountants, valuers, real estate agents, builders, lawyers, journalists and other professionals) who have obtained a license (certificate, attestation, permit, attestation, etc.) to carry out certain professional activities.
Compensation under the Professional Liability Insurance contract is provided if damage to the life, health and/or property of clients or third parties has been caused during and/or as a result of the insured's professional activities, as a result of errors, omissions, deficiencies, negligence, unintentional false actions, etc. The amount of compensation is determined by agreement between the parties, but within the limit of the amount indicated by the insured when completing the application form.
The insurance is valid within the limits of the territory of the Republic of Moldova and may be valid :
- during the period of validity of the professional activity license;
- during the period of professional activity under a separate agreement with the client;
- for another period within the period of validity of the license for professional activity in accordance with the insurance contract.
