Green Card insurance is compulsory for all owners of motor vehicles traveling abroad and covers damage caused to third parties as a result of traffic accidents (property damage or personal injury).
The following conditions must be met to take out Green Card insurance
the motor vehicle must be registered/registered in the Republic of Moldova;
presentation of the vehicle registration certificate or, where applicable, other documents proving the right of ownership of the vehicle
The purchase of a Green Card policy offered by BANCASSURANCE exempts the owners and/or users of motor vehicles and their passengers from unwanted expenses while traveling abroad in case of an accident.
The Green Card insurance coverage areas are as follows:
Zone 1: Ukraine and Belarus;
Zone 2: Ukraine, Belarus and Russia;
