Industrial Hazardous Facilities Insurance is the only way to effectively protect yourself against all types of negative consequences of accidents at facilities whose operation is associated with significant risks (which include not only damage or destruction of the facility, but also damage to third parties and the environment). The insurance policy is issued in the name of the owner of a hazardous industrial facility – the organization operating the facility. This may be an individual or legal entity. The object of insurance is the property interests of the owner in connection with his obligation to compensate for the damage caused to the injured parties.
In the event of an insured event, the insurance company will reimburse the costs of:
- covering the consequences of the accident;
- for saving the property and lives of the victims;
- judicial and arbitration proceedings to obtain compensation for the damage caused;
- preliminary investigation of all circumstances of the damage caused, as well as the degree of guilt of the responsible persons.
